We work at the interface of behavior and physiology to understand the causes and consequences of animal decisions in complex landscapes. Our research combines a suite of field and modeling approaches to address pressing ecological questions in both observational and experimental contexts. The majority of our work is focused on large mammals, and our study species range from elk to elephants.
