The Long Lab Welcomes New PhD Student Katey Huggler
Katey Huggler joined our lab in January of 2020 to pursue her PhD studying relationships among the nutritional landscape, behavior, disease dynamics, and demography of bighorn sheep in Idaho and Wyoming, in collaboration with the Monteith Shop and the Idaho Department of Fish and Game. Katey is an alum of the University of Idaho, where she completed her undergraduate degree in Wildlife Resources before pursuing her MS as a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellow with Kevin Monteith at the University of Wyoming. Katey is a talented scientist and an Idaho native, and it’s good to have her back. Welcome to the lab Katey!
